What is ATS Doctoral Thesis Award Contest?
ATS Doctoral Thesis Award Contest (2024) is organized by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Doctoral students working on test-related topics are eligible for participating in the contest. A presentation video, not exceeding 30 minutes in duration. Submissions will undergo a selection process by an expert jury. The winner will be announced before 31st December 2024. Last Date of Contest is 15th October 2024.

Eligibility of ATS Doctoral Thesis Award Contest
** Doctoral students working on test-related topics are eligible for participating in the contest.
** An individual can only participate in the contest once in a lifetime.
** Participation is encouraged when the thesis is close to completion.
** Submissions to multiple regional sites are prohibited.
Submission of ATS Doctoral Thesis Award Contest
Contestants must submit the following material by email to Prof Vaishali Dhare (vaishali.dhare[AT]nirmauni.ac.in) with a cc to Prof Indranil Sengupta (isg[AT]iitkgp.ac.in)
1. A separate cover page with the student’s thesis title, name, affiliation, one advisor, and expected date of graduation.
2. A simple endorsement letter by the advisor, e.g., a signed statement supporting the student’s participation in the contest.
3. A thesis summary in the IEEE 2-column format, up to 10 pages in length.
4. A presentation video, not exceeding 30 minutes in duration.
Submissions will undergo a selection process by an expert jury. The winner will be announced before Dec. 31, 2024.

About ATS
The Asian Test Symposium started 1992 in Hiroshima, Japan, as an annual symposium in the Asia Pacific region. Since then, the symposium has continued its growth and development, visiting various historic cities in Asia. This year it is marking its 33rd anniversary to Ahmedabad, India. We welcome all the contributors to the heritage city of India.
The walled city of Ahmadabad was founded by Sultan Ahmad Shah in 1411 AD on the eastern bank of the Sabarmati River. On July 8th, 2017, a remarkable moment unfolded as Ahmedabad earned the title of India’s first-ever UNESCO World Heritage City.
