What is R2kademy Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest?

Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest is organized by R2kademy & Students Dream Box Academy. Children who are between Age 5 and 17 Years can participate in the contest. Showcase your outstanding MUSIC skills to the world and have a chance to win great prizes at this competition. Registration Fees is Rs.300 per entry per participant. All the participants will receive a Certificate & Medal. Winner & Runner will be Award with a Trophy. Last Date of Contest is 10th August 2024.

Categories of Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest

Sub-Junior : Age 5 – 8 yrs
Junior : Age 9 – 12 yrs
Teens : Age 13 – 17 yrs
(Age completion as of 31 July 2024 – Bring Aadhar copy /Birth certificate / School ID with DoB for age verification)

Details of Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest

1) CLASSIC MASTERO (Duration : 3-5 minutes)
Instruments: Mridangam / Thavil / Kanjira / Ghatam Veena / Violin (any other instrument reach out organizer)

2) CLASSIC VOICE (Duration: 3-5 minutes)
Swaras / Geetham / Varnam/ Keerthanai/ Bhajans (anything Carnatic)

Awards of Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest

** All the participants will receive a Medal & Certificate on the same day.
** Winner & Runner will receive a Trophy on Award Felicitation for each category.
** Result Announcement & Award Felicitation within 30 mins after the completion of each event

Instructions of Sapthasawaras Sangama Carnatic Music Contest

** For all competitions Reference materials, Gadgets, etc. are not allowed inside the competition hall.
** Adhere to the given duration for all the competition!
** Strictly no Karaoke for classic voice
** If there are any tie-breakers performance, round 2 will be conducted

Policy:
** Academy has all the rights to cancel or re-schedule due to any unforeseen situations. In such case, we will intimate the rescheduled date for offline or online competition.
** Refund of the registration fee cannot be claimed for any of the above situations/participant’s personal reasons.
** By registering for the competition, parents are agreeing to automatic subscriptions to academy-related communications and promotions (thru any social/Telemedia)
** The Academy has the right to detain any participant during competition in case of any misconduct.
** The Academy has all rights to change any terms & our decisions will be final on the results.

Safety:
** General safety measures are in place. Participants are responsible for their own safety.
** BYW – Bring Your Water bottle. Water stations are available for refilling water.
** If any participant is sick, request not to participate as a safety measure and wear a mask in case of a slight cold, cough, or related illness.

Reporting:
** Competition timings Tentatively 9:30 am–5:30 pm (lunch/snacks time will be provided)
** Each competition slot timings will be communicated 2 days before the competition date thru WhatsApp
** Report on the date of competition according to your slot.
** BYOL/S – Bring Your Lunch/Snacks, for those who will be attending multiple competitions.
** Participants should bring their age-proof ID for verification.
** The Academy won’t give any extra time for delayed reporting and is not responsible for non-participation.

Note to Parents/Guardians:
** Respective Slot Participants & Parents are allowed inside the competition hall.
** Parents can enjoy watching / Video shoot their kid’s performance!
** Any special attention for any children is to be communicated to the organizer before the registration.
** We have a limited waiting area for parents/guardians. Preference to Grandparents, Physically challenged, Pregnant women, and Parents from far station to accommodate in the available space.
** Parents/Guardians can enjoy the waiting time with yummy pastries/coffee/chai/snacks/ at the nearest outlets
** No exclusive parking area. Vehicle Parking should not be parked by hindering any road/vehicle movements. The academy is not responsible for providing parking space.
** Govt. Municipal parking is available near our venue. Parents can check and park their vehicle at their own risk based on space availability (charges may be applicable)
