What is ET ETWordsmith Contest?
#ETWordsmith Contest 2024 is organized by EconomicTimes.com & Times Internet Limited. Th Contest is open to Any citizen of India over 18 years of age. There is no entry fee to the Contest. Each Participant can send his entry only once in a day. The daily Prizes will be delivered to the Winners within 60 days from the date of intimation to the Winner. Last Date of Contest is 22nd July 2024.
Eligibility of ETWordsmith Contest
** Any citizen of India over 18 years of age and competent to enter into a legally binding contract, having a valid ID proof and email address.
** To participate in the Contest, a participant needs to send the answers at events.economictimes[AT]gmail.com by providing their details – name, email ID and contact No.
** There is no entry fee to the Contest.
How to Participate in the ETWordsmith Contest?
The Contest is open for a period of 5 days from Thursday, 18th July 2024 to Monday, 22nd July 2024 every day on EconomicTimes.com’s verified Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and Facebook pages/accounts.
Playing the Contest:
** Every day (Thursday, 18th July 2024 to Monday, 22nd July 2024), a crossword will feature on the social media handles of Economic Times.com, a Times Internet product. There will be 5 different crosswords that will be published each day. Users are requested to follow ET’s social media platforms to track whenever the contest is published.

** At any given time of the day, a crossword will be published across ET’s social media handles. Participants have to open the link mentioned in the post text and read the article published on the site. They then need to find relevant keywords from the article in the crossword.
** Entries need to be sent to events.economictimes[AT]gmail.com with the answers. Each Participant can send his entry only once in a day. There is no other medium on which ET is conducting this Contest.
Playing Hours:
** The Contest is open only till 11:00 pm every day. Any entry received after 11:00 pm will not be considered for evaluation.
** Emails sent with information other than the answers to the Contest will not be considered.
** Each Participant can send his entry only once. Multiple emails in a day from the same email ID will result in disqualification of the Participant. Participants found using multiple accounts to enter the contest will be considered ineligible and disqualified from the contest.
Winners Selection of ETWordsmith Contest
** Every day, a winner (“Winner”) will be announced who will be called #WinnerOfTheDay
** Daily Winners – Among the Participants who have correctly answered, 1 Winner will be selected every day on a random basis (lucky draw), by a computer system
Correspondence:
** Any correspondence from EconomicTimes.com to Participants will be directed by email and/or SMS and/or Call and/or letter to your email address and, or, postal address as provided by you.
** Decision of TIL will be final. No communication will be entered into with any person in relation to any decision of the process.
** Participants will be asked to furnish valid documentation as required by TIL, if he or she has won a prize. Non-compliance will lead to disqualification.
** To claim the Prize, the Winners have to send their valid ID proof and such other details – name, email ID and contact No. to events.economictimes[AT]gmail.com as may be required by TIL. The Winner will be given 24 hours to send the ID proof with complete address details failing which he/she will be disqualified.
TIL reserves the right to cancel the Prize and announce other Winner(s) in place of the originally announced Winner(s) if:
** (i) the documents or details of the Winner(s) are not correct in the opinion of TIL; or
** (ii) documents so required are incomplete, misleading or untrue; or
** (iii) the Winner(s) do not sign the release form required by TIL; or
** (iv) if the Winner(s) do not approach TIL within timelines as provided herein.
Prizes of ETWordsmith Contest
** The daily Prizes will be delivered to the Winners within 60 days from the date of intimation to the Winner. TIL shall not be liable if the Prize is not delivered due to any logistics, technical or unforeseen reason.
** If an advertised Prize is not available, TIL reserves the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.
** The Prize is as stated and is non-transferable and not-for-sale. No cash alternatives will be offered.
** TIL reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed Prize in any manner it deems fit.
** Applicable tax, if any, to be paid for claiming Prizes is the responsibility of the Winner.
** The benefits of this Contest cannot be clubbed with any other offer, or promotion, or contest hosted by TIL.
