What is Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Annual Competition?

Annual Competition 2024-25 is organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama. Quiz, Recitation and Essay Writing for all students (classes5 to 12), teachers and all others including students of college and University of Jharkhand. Free online registration and E- Certificate to all the participants. Last Date of Contest is 10th November 2024.

Objectives of Annual Competition

To imbibe the students, teachers, and others with the inspiring, character making and nation building messages of Swami Vivekananda to make self-confident, self-reliant, and responsible citizens of India.

Groups:
Two groups:
(A) Teachers of any educational institution and
(B) Open to all.

** 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners of first Competition at district level shall have to reappear in second competition at state level.Hand written essay in own language in 800 to 1000 words or two pages of A4 size paper by the participants in Hindi/English is to be submitted to the respective district level organization by email (will be given in website) or by hand.

Types of Annual Competition

Quiz ( Online in Hindi and English):
(A) Life and teaching of Swami Vivekananda (Hindi and English Book),General Knowledge, Current affair, and Mathematics for the studentsof (1) Classes5 to 7, (2) Classes8 to 12.
(B)‘Naya Bharat Gadho’ ( Hindi Book) &‘Rebuild India’(English Book):Open to all.Competition shall be organized online at the state level by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi.

Recitation (Hindi only):
Two groups viz. class 5 to 7 and class 8 to 10 in Hindi on ‘Swadesh Mantra’of Swami Vivekananda. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners of first Competition at school level shall have to reappear in second competition at district level (OFFLINE/ONLINE). 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners of second competition at district level shall have to reappear at third competition at state level (ONLINE).

Essay Writing by Hand:
Topic- “Naya Bharat Gadho” (Hindi) &“Rebuild India” (English), Central theme and sub points of the essay to be taken from the chapters of the book“Naya Bharat Gadho” in Hindi&“Rebuild India” in English. (Soft copies of these books are available in rkmranchi.org/competition)

Uploading of File for Essay Competition :
1. Document to be scanned only in pdf format.
2. Document to be scanned in grey scale with 150 dpi
3. Please ensure the size of the file to be less than 5MB
4. Before uploading the file please open the file and check whether it is legible for assessment
5. If the uploaded file is not ligible or clear to read then the participant will not be awarded any mark.

Mode of Submission: Online (email/website)only scanned hand written copies will be evaluated.

Prizes of Annual Competition

** Free online registration and E- Certificate to all the participants.
** BookLife and teachings of Swami Vivekananda (Hindi and English version) for ( classes5 to 12), “Naya Bharat Gadho” or “Rebuild India” for others shall be available on payment (with discount)only or can also be downloaded freely from above mentioned website.
** At school level, the awards for only Recitation will be decided by either school or district nodal organization.
** At district level, the awards will be decided & presented by nodal organization of the respective district.
** At State level Prizes of Rs 80,000/-(Eighty Thousand only) will be presented on National Youth Day (12 January 2025) by an eminent person.
** Knowledge about the vision of Swami Vivekananda on new India.
** Within Jharkhand only.
