What is Image Group IAC Art Contest?

Art Contest 2024 is organized by Image Group. Anyone who is a school/Inter PU/college UG student can participate in this Contest. The interested students should pay the entry fee of Rs. 100 to their art teacher or principal via UPI or direct cash. Everyone who participated at the contest will receive an e-participation certificate via email within a week. Last Date of Contest is 26th August 2024.

How to Participate in the Art Contest?

IAC is open to school/college students. Here’s how they can participate.
** The registration opens on 1 August 2024 and closes on 26 August 2024.
** If you are a school/college student, share about IAC with your principal/art teacher.

** If you are an art teacher/principal, reach out to us by calling 7825835148, to have your interested students registered for IAC:
i. Once you communicate with Image Group’s representative, create an account at imagegroup.in/iac and then register your students for IAC on the website.
ii. Ensure to register all interested students by August 26
iii. The contest will take place on August 31 at your school/college. Ensure all registered students attend the contest.
iv. Ensure all submit their artwork to you by the end of the day.

FAQ on Art Contest

Who can participate?
Anyone who is a school/Inter PU/college (UG only) student can participate through their educational institution.

What type of artwork can be submitted?
The participant can only submit an artwork that is related to the topic of the category in which they are eligible to participate.

Can a participant submit more than one piece of artwork?
A participant can submit only one artwork.

When and where is the contest taking place?
IAC is set to take place on 31 August 2024, at your school or college premises.

Should the participants bring their art supplies?
Yes. The participants can create their artwork with any tactile colouring or sketching materials, such as pencils, crayons, pastels, poster colours, acrylic, oil paint, etc, so they shall bring the necessary colouring/sketching materials for the content. Each participant registered for IAC will be given two A3 sheets for creating their artwork.

How can a student participate?
** The registration opens on 1 August 2024 and closes on 26 August 2024.
** School/college students shall share information about IAC with their principal/art teacher.
** Art teacher/principal of a school/college shall reach out to us by calling 7825835148, to register the interested students for IAC.
** Once they communicate with Image Group’s representative, they shall create an account at imagegroup.in/iac and then register the interested students fro their institution for IAC on the website.
** The registrations close on August 26
** The contest will take place on August 31 at the school/college of the registered students.
** The final artwork should be submitted by the end of the day.

What should be done if met with a problem during registration?
The art teacher/principal shall intimate the discrepancies faced during the registrations to Image Group’s Creative Engagement Strategist who is in contact with them.

When will the participation certification be provided?
After the competition is over, everyone who participated at the contest will receive an e-participation certificate via email within a week.

Are there any restrictions on the subject matter of the artwork?
There is no limitation on creative freedom, except for a few. Your artwork must not:
** Promote illegal behaviour
** Support racial, religious, sexual, or other invidious prejudice
** Advocate sexual or violent exploitation
** Violate rights established by law or agreement
** Invade the privacy of any person or be otherwise inappropriate, as determined by Population Connection in its sole and conclusive determination.

If someone is registered to IAC but didn’t submit their artwork, is the entry fee refundable?
No. Refund can’t be claimed if a registered participant didn’t participate on the day of contest and submit the artwork.

How can the entry fee be paid?
The interested students should pay the entry fee of Rs. 100 to their art teacher or principal via UPI or direct cash. The Image Group will receive the payment through them.
