What is Mission LiFE Ideas4LiFE?

Ideas4LiFE 2024 is organized by Mission LiFE. The ideas include themes of Mission LiFE such as- Save Water, Save Energy, Reduce Waste, Reduce E-waste, Adopt Healthy Lifestyle, Adopt Sustainable Food Systems and Say No to Single Use Plastic and may include any other themes related to sustainable lifestyles. This initiative aims to encourage and motivate students, faculty and research scholars to contribute their innovative ideas to this global initiative of Mission LiFE. Last Date of Contest is 15th September 2024.

Who can Participate in the Ideas4LiFE?

Undergraduate and above students, research scholars, faculty members and others can participate as individual and teams of upto 04 members.

Submission Process of Ideas4LiFE

Simple Idea Submission Process
01 Design : Identify your problem statement and come up with an idea to solve it.
02 Planning : Create a simple paper prototype and list the key project elements.
03 Development : Bring your idea to life by creating a tangible model/working protoype that demonstrates its effectiveness.
04 Launch : Submit your idea for review and keep refining it as needed.

How to Submit an Idea for Ideas4LiFE?

This SOP provides a step-by-step guide for registered applicants to log in and submit an idea on the Ideas4Life platform
Procedure:
Access the Log-In Page
** Open your web browser and navigate to Ideas4Life Registration Landing Page.
** On the landing page, locate and click the “Log – in” button. This action will redirect you to the “Applicant Log-in Page.” Log In using your registered Email ID. Your Mobile Number is your password.
** In case of forgetting your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link located below the login field.
** In the designated field, enter your registered email address.
** Click on the “Generate Password” button to proceed with the password reset request.
** Upon verification, a reset password will be sent to the provided email, guiding you to create a new password and regain access to your account.

Prize of Ideas4LiFE

** The winning ideas under this initiative will be recognised and awarded with attractive prizes for individuals as well as for institutions.
** Going forward, the MoEFCC will create a repository with a set of ideas/innovations under each theme of Mission LiFE. Further, these ideas can be nurtured and implemented by various stakeholders.

What is Ideas4LiFE ?
The event is a unique platform where inspired young minds as well as research scholars and faculty members will contribute to ideas for LiFE and strengthen this movement globally.
The aim is to:
(1) Capture the details of existing innovations/prototypes developed by institutes on themes related to Mission LiFE or other related themes
(2) Identify challenges in inducing behavioural change related to LiFE
(3) Synergise young minds and mainstream their efforts towards Mission LiFE
(4) Commit research and development towards the efforts of behavioural nudges for climate action
(5) Promote the adoption of LiFE- Lifestyle for environment at individual level and globally
