What is OFLY Civil Aviation Day Contest?

Civil Aviation Day Contest 2024 is organized by OFLY. This contest will provide school students with a platform to explore different career options in aviation industry. School students from classes 8th to 12th are eligible to participate. Winners will have the opportunity to take home an Aircraft Model, as well as discount vouchers for Aviation Summer Camp: LEAP 25 and aviation internships. Last Date of Contest is 20th November 2024.

Eligibility of Civil Aviation Day Contest

** Civil Aviation Day Contest 2024 as we honour the past achievements and look forward to a future filled with exciting possibilities in the world of civil aviation. This contest will provide school students with a platform to explore different career options in aviation industry.

** From the first successful powered flight by the Wright brothers to the modern innovations in aircraft technology, civil aviation has transformed the way we travel and connect with the world. International Civil Aviation Day (7th December) is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of all those involved in the aviation industry, from pilots and flight attendants to air traffic controllers, ground staff and engineers.

** School students from classes 8th to 12th are eligible to participate.

How to Participate in the Civil Aviation Day Contest?

** Record up to 2-minute selfie video where you interview an aviation professional asking them about their job role & responsibilities in the industry.
** This is your chance to get up close and personal with real-life aviation experts and learn more about this exciting field. By recording short selfie videos with aviation professionals, you can gain insight into different job roles within the industry and showcase the diverse opportunities available.
** Upload the video along with your details.
Note: Video must include Introduction of the participant followed by Interview of an aviation professional.

Pilot Perspective: Have a pilot explain their daily responsibilities, challenges, and the thrill of flying an aircraft.
Air Traffic Controller Insight: Get an air traffic controller to describe their crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient air traffic management.
Aircraft Mechanic Showcase: Feature an aircraft mechanic sharing their expertise in maintaining and repairing planes.
Flight Attendant Experience: Hear from a flight attendant about their role in ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction during flights.
