The best photographs from each category will be awarded with prizes, including cash rewards, hampers, camera accessories, and more. The last date for form submission is 26th February, 2025

** Aerial, Blue Hour and Golden Hour Photography
** Prayers and Faith
** Sacred Water
** Open Category

Submissions Guidelines For Photography Contest:
** Photograph must be original.
** There must be no border, logo, copyright marks, identifying marks or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
** Basic editing including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the photo(s) is acceptable, provided and such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photo(s)
** Advance editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
** Printable Quality
** No age restrictions
** Theme based only
** Photos must be in JPEG format.
** Five pictures not exceeding 10 MB are allowed per participant.
** Unique title and description must be provided.
** Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environment violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions, and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
** Participant should be a resident of India.
** No restriction on the participation of Central and State government employees/ Journalists.
** Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.

Awards of Lalit Kala Akademi Maha Kumbh Photography Contest

The best photographs from each category will be awarded with prizes, including cash rewards, hampers, camera accessories, and more.

Photography Contest Awards:
** 1st Award, each category – ₹1,00,000
** 2nd Award, each category – ₹50,000
** 3rd, 4th, 5th, each category – ₹25,000
** 25 Outstanding Recognition Awards – ₹10,000 each

The Judging:
** Lalit Kala Akademi will appoint a judge for photography contest. This will comprise of members of the editorial team and/or external judges.
** The Judging panel shall assess and determine the winning Photos. The results and the winners will be announced on the website and social media platforms of Lalit Kala Akademi.
** The decision of Mahakumbh Photography Contest judging panel will be final and binding on all Participants in respect to all matters relating to the contest.
** Lalit Kala Akademi reserves the right to call for original JPEG or RAW files with unchanged EXIF for the purpose of authentication. An image maybe disregarded if this information cannot be provided.
