Capture The Flag Contest :

Build The Shield is a first-of-its-kind national level college hacking contest hosted by Microsoft India. It is a competitive hands-on hacking experience coupled with real-life scenarios; wherein you defend and attack competitors’ servers to emerge as the winner.

The National Finale will be held at the Microsoft Hyderabad campus in India on Mar 19, 2016.

A college can submit multiple team entries for qualifiers, however a maximum of 50 teams will be shortlisted for the National Finale

Rules :
** To participate in the contest, interested candidates need to form a team of four members. Once you register yourself, you participate in the qualifiers
** Qualifiers would be an online inter college competition on security related questions. The more you answer and the faster your answer, the closer you get to capturing the winner’s flag
** If your passion and knowledge for security makes you clear the qualifiers, we would be very glad to invite you to the Microsoft Hyderabad campus for the grand finale
** All the teams with their strong security shields, participate in the finale where they shield themselves against the invaders and stand for security. So, all you need to have is passion, excitement, knowledge and the power to Build The Shield

Registration Guidelines:

** Registration dates: Dec 7, 2015 to Jan 25, 2016
** Build The Shield is only open to Graudates or Under-graduates pursuing major in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and graduating in 2017 or 2018
** Any number of teams can be registered from the same college
** Each team should consist of 4 members of the same college
** Students must upload their photo and college identity card, at the time of registration
** Each participant must have a Windows Live ID (Outlook, live or Hotmail) or a Facebook account
** Please enter your details carefully. Once submitted, registration information cannot be modified
