Topics for the video competition :

1. John 4:7 “Let us love one another, for love comes from God”.(Loving one another in terms of forgiveness and service to friends, poor and people in need)
2. Matthew 4:19 “ Follow me, And I will make you fishers of men”(Responding to God’s Call and accepting His will in our lives, trusting in His plan for us no matter how hard and difficult it seems)
3. Ephesians 6:2 “ Honour your Father and Mother”(In relation to family responsibilities – being patient and humble with them, respecting them and valuing them for the sacrifices made for family)

Rules and regulations :
1. Every Chapter can send any number of videos. Any topic among the 3 can be chosen.
2. The shooting and editing of the video should be done by the members of the Chapter only and not outsourced.
3. At least 50% of the video should be motion video clips (as opposed to still-pictures /slideshow).
4. Video can be shot using a phone camera, digital camera or a DSLR; while we’re not looking for very superior HD quality video, the video should not be sub-standard either.
** Minimum resolution – 640*480
5. The video should aim to
** Inspire action based on the Word (topic) chosen OR
** Show application of the Word OR
** Share the message of the Word
6. The video should be created in Catholic spirit – vulgarity, immodesty, toilet humour is strongly discouraged.
7. Please ensure you use the right nomenclature in the videos – we are known as CFCI Singles now and not SFC.
8. All sources used like video clips, songs or images must be original, or with license held.
9. The video must be shared by uploading via Google Drive, Box, Dropbox or any other file sharing sites to cfcisingles@gmail.com. Video should not be uploaded on YouTube.
10.The video must be minimum of 1min and maximum of 10mins.
11.It would be helpful if a copy of the dialogue script is shared with the video.
12.The Title and a brief Description (explaining the Word chosen) needs to be sent as well to cfcisingles@gmail.com.

Judging Criteria :
1. We encourage all Singles to be included in making of the video. Additional points will be given, if Couples, Kids and Youth from the community are included too.
2. If the video shared, clears the initial screening of content, it will be uploaded on YouTube, for voting and sharing.
3. Most number of likes, views of the video captured by YouTube would be taken into consideration and a part of the points would be awarded for the same.
4. The uploaded video can be embedded or shared in your personal sites, on Facebook, or the link could be shared via WhatsApp.
5. The criteria for judging will be based on the impact of message, creativity and originality.
6. Last date for submission is July 31st, 2015.
