Rules and Regulations :
1. The Tournament is open to all Players only.
2. The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
3. Time Control: Each Half an hour. Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants
4. The first round will commence at 12.05 p.m. on 25.07.2015. The number of rounds and round wise schedule shall be announced at tournament hall
5. TNSCA Registration is compulsory for Tamil Nadu players. The TNSCA Registration fee is Rs. 100/- for the year 2015-16. Those who are not registered should apply for registration with duly filled and signed TNSCA registration form along with a copy of their Date of Birth Certificate obtained from Municipality / Corporation with one passport size photograph. Those who are already registered with TNSCA must show proof thereof
6. Namakkal District Chess Foundation Registration is compulsory for Namakkal District players.
7. Players are requested to bring their own International chess sets (and chess clock if, any).
8. Tiebreak – Buchholz tiebreak system will be applied .In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.
9. The Arbiters’ decisions’ shall be final and binding on all players concerned.
10. Entries received after 21.07.2015 will attract a late fee of Rs. 50/- per player. No entry will be entertained after 23.07.2015.
11. The TNSCA / Namakkal District Chess Foundation / the organizers Aim Chess Academy reserve the rights to admit / refuse and entry without assigning any reason thereof.
12. Out station players will be given dormitory type of accommodation. The players are requested to bring their own beddings.
13. If any error is found out in the production of ID, proof of a player, at any time during the tournament, he/she will be disqualified.
14. School ID must be produced.
14. The best special prizes will be awarded to the school which brings maximum players and the school that produces outstanding performances.

Brain Power Chess Academy was earlier known as New Samarath Chess Institute. It was established in 2003 by a young entrepreneur and an International Rated Chess Player FNI Ankit Dalal with the sole aim of promoting Chess.
In a decade Brain Power Chess Academy has organized a lot of state level, district level tournaments in Ahmedabad. With a strong team, good entrepreneurial skills and long term vision FNI Ankit Dalal developed this Chess Academy to promote young chess talents by providing the best Infrastructure for playing, scholarships for coaching and came up with a unique idea of appreciating all kids by giving medals for participation in the event.
Supporting and understanding the vision, Mr Dipak Parikh took the administrative responsibilities since inception of the academy. Mr. Parikh a very strong team player enhanced the academy’s vision by organizing and officiating Inter-school chess events and gave a superb playing atmosphere to kids.
Brain Power Chess Academy’s goal is to motivate grass root level players and enhance their ability to perform at the highest level.
