ALM Oratorical Contest :

ALM Oratorical contest has been instituted by CLRI since 1968 for College students and opened to School Students from 2009 onwards to ask ‘why’, ‘how’ and ‘when’ about the issues that impact the common people everyday. This year contest would be part of Golden Jubilee celebrations of Leather Research Industry Get-Together (LERIG).

Registration Last Date : 12-01-2016

Guidelines :
** The contest is open for 9-12th Class school students and college students.
** The contest will be judged independently by the three eminent personalities.
** The medium of the contest will be English. Contestants can choose the topics of their interest from the list of topics hosted in our website

Contest Format :
School Students :
** Contestants are required to choose a topic from the 5 topics sent to the Head of the institution.
** They are given five minutes to present their views on the selected topic. The medium of the contest is English.
** Students duly nominated by the school and whose nominations were received well before the Last Date are permitted to participate in the contest.
** Each school can nominate a maximum of five students to the contest. The nomination has to be made by the Head/Principal of the school.
** Students are requested to carry a copy of the nomination form and their School Identity Card while coming for the contest.
** Students from class 9,10, 11 & 12 are eligible.

College Students :
** Five topics will be sent to the Head of the institution and students can refer/prepare those topics.
** However, on the day of event, there will be on the spot lottery system, participants will have to speak on either of the 5 topics.
** They are given five minutes to present their views on the allotted topic. The medium of the contest is English.
** Students duly nominated by the Head of the Institution and whose nominations were received well before the Last Date are permitted to participate in the contest.
** Each college can nominate a maximum of five students to the contest. The nomination has to be made by the Head of the institution in the appropriate nomination form. By nominating, the Head of the institution certifies that the nominee is below the age of 25.
** Students are requested to carry a copy of the nomination form and their college Identity Card while coming for the contest.

College Students :22-01-2016, Friday, 10 A.M
