Terms & Conditions :
** Vadodara Chapter of Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is organizing Preliminary Round of 14th All India Elocution Competition for Students of ICSI on Friday, 10th July, 2015.
** The Elocution Competition will be held at three levels
** Chapter Level
** Regional Level
** National Level
** In the first instance Vadodara Chapter would organize the preliminary round of Elocution Competition for the students on 10th July 2015.
** The winner and 1st runner up would be participating in the Regional Level to be held tentatively on the 18th July 2015.
** The winner and 1st runner up from each Region will be participating in the National Level event to be held on Saturday, the 25th July, 2015 at ICSI-Bangalore Chapter.
** Only registered students of ICSI can participate in the competition. Practicing Advocates, Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants are not eligible to participate and the students of ICSI who have cleared all modules of Professional Programme are not eligible to participate.
** Last date for submission of duly filled Registration Forms is Thursday, July 9, 2015 latest by 12:00 noon at Vadodara Chapter Office.
** Venue & Timing of Chapter Level will be intimated shortly.

** Whether
** Reducing regulations for ‘easing of doing business in India’ and
** Increasing Regulations for ‘enhancing corporate governance’ are contradictory or complimentary?’

About Us :
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is constituted under an Act of Parliament i.e. the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980). ICSI is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India awards the certificate of bestowing the designation of Company Secretary(CS) to a candidate qualifying for the membership of the Institute. It was in 1960 that the Company Law Board started a course in Company Secretaryship leading to the award of Government Diploma in Company Secretaryship. As the number of students taking up the Company Secretaryship course grew, the Government promoted on 4th October, 1968, Institute of Company Secretaries of India under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 for taking over from the Government the conduct of Company Secretaryship examination.
