42nd Bihar State (U-19) Boys & Girls Chess Championship :

Opening Ceremony: 9 -07-2015 at 11 am.
Player’s Meeting: 11:30 am. 1st Round : 12 noon

Players born on or after 01.01.1996 with valid age proof.

Closing Ceremony: 11th July 2015 at 3:00 pm.
Rounds : No. of rounds will depend upon the number of players and FIDE Rules.
Entry Fee: Rs 300/- for out of station players. (50 % Concession for local players)
ABCA Registration Fee: Rs 100/- must for all unregistered players.

Selection:

** Top four players each in Boys and Girls group would qualify for National (Under-19) 2015 to be organised in Tamil Nadu from July-21 to 28,2015 provided they have proper & valid birth certificate as defined by AICF Rules i.e.
** issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat etc and registered within one year of the birth of the child.
Lodging :Free dormitory accommodation will be provided to all outstation players including one Manager.

Prizes:

Trophy to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in both categories.
Cash Prize Rs 10,300/- Boys- Rs 6000/- : 1st 2000, 2nd 1500, 3rd 1000,4th 800,5th 700
Girls – Rs 4300/- 1st 1200, 2nd 1000, 3rd 800,4th 700,5th Rs 600
Certificate of participation to all the players.

Rules & regulations:

** Pairings will be done on Swiss System .
** 60 minutes plus 15 second increment will be applied and three rounds will be played in a day as decided in the players’ meeting.
** The matches will be played under latest FIDE Rules.

Protest:
** Protest if any, may be lodged within half an hour of the occurrence with a protest fee Rs 500/-
** All units are requested to confirm entry latest by Tuesday, the 7th July 2015 and send two clocks.

About Us :

Giving this information Arvind Kumar Sinha, Honorary Secretary, All Bihar Chess Association said that top 4 players in each boys & girls sections would be selected from this championship to represent Bihar in the National Junior (U-19) Boys & Girls Chess championship -2015 scheduled to be organized at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu from 23rd July 2015.
Mukesh Kumar Jha, convener of PDF Chess Club & Academy said that over 10 thousand prize money would awarded among the players and the tournament circular of this was uploaded on ABCA website.
