The annual afaqs! poll, Buzziest Brands 2016 now in its eleventh consecutive year, is the benchmark to gauge which brands have managed to create that elusive thing called Buzz in the marketplace in the year gone by.

The idea is to poll people who understand the world of brands that is, readers of afaqs!, one of the world’s largest marketing and advertising portals.

afaqs! Buzziest Brands of the Year Poll identifies the brands that have generated the most conversation among consumers during the year.

The methodology in the eleventh year of the poll is as follows-
** No shortlist of brands has been made in the overall list. While there is a prompt to help participants, they can vote for any deserving brands whatsoever.
** A jury of eminent personalities will also cast their votes in the main list. Their votes will account for a 30 per cent weightage; the popular vote will account for 70 per cent.
** There are 21 product categories in total. Voters can choose the three buzziest brands in each of them.
** For voting in the product categories, they will be entitled to a surprise gift.

Note:
** Winners will be informed by email at the address registered by them during voting.
** The decision of afaqs! and the Jury will be final and binding without any right of further appeal.

Terms & Conditions:
** Three lucky winners will receive a surprise gift. afaqs! shall in no way be responsible for any quality of product, replacement, damages, additional cost, losses, expenses and/or taxes incurred by Users qua the products.
** In no event shall afaqs!, its directors, officials, representatives and employees be liable for any damages relating to products given as prizes.
** It is also clearly understood that all warranties, implied or express take place between the manufacturers and the User.
** The User agrees to provide authentic and true information. afaqs! reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by the user at any point of time.
** If upon confirmation such User details are found not to be true (wholly or partly), afaqs! has the right in its sole discretion to nullify the vote.
