Cryptic Crossword Competition In Hindi:

Spices Board India is conducting a Cryptic Crossword Competition In Hindi for the high school students of non-Hindi speaking states on 29th January 2016 towards special programme in connection with the Hindi Fortnight Celebrations 2015.

High school [std VIII-X] students of all syllabus[CBSE/state boards/IC SE etc.] are eligible to participate in this competition.

Prizes:
The winners of the Regional level competitions shall be given the following cash awards :
i) First Prize – Rs.10000/-
ii) Second Prize -Rs.5000/

Rules:
** The above competition shall be conducted in two rounds. The first round shall be the Regional level competitions in each state.
** The teams consisting of two students shall solve a written Hindi Cryptic Cross Word Puzzle in 30 minutes. No dictionaries or other help materials are allowed in the venue during mcompetition.
** The Regional level competitions shall be conducted in all selected centres, on the same date [on E January 2016 and time [11.00 -11.30 am].
** The first and second prize winners of the Regional level competitions from respective states shall be qualified for the second round competitions at National level. The date , time , venue and other details regarding National level competition shall be communicated to the respective candidates in due course.
** Each school can nominate a team consisting of two members for the competitions. Mother tongue of the team members shall not be Hindi or its dialects and this shall be endorsed by the school authority in the nomination form itself. The nomination shall contain the details of the participating members, ie., Name, standard, name&address of the School & Contact person with phone/fax, e-mail ID etc.
** Last date of receipt of nomination either in the form of hard or soft copy to concerned SDA, is 20th JANUARY 2016
** The participants shall keep a copy of the nomination letter and school ID while reporting for the competition. No participation fee for the competition.
** The decision taken by the Judges/Spices Board/officials authorized by the Board shall be the final and no further queries shall be entertained. Spices Board reserves the right to apply suitable measures to restrict the number of entries, if found necessary. ,.
