TCS’ ESRM Cyber Security Contest:

With the rapid increase in cybercrimes and a changing threat landscape, enterprises are continually demanding a secure, scalable, cost-effective and flexible security environment.

We would like to call upon students to showcase innovative ideas towards addressing the cyber security needs of organizations. Hence, in a pursuit to bring out the best from students and institutes, TCS’s Enterprise Security and Risk Management (ESRM) unit is conducting a Cyber Security Article Writing Contest across TCS accredited institutes in India.

Contestants are required to write Cyber Security related articles on any of the below listed technologies and submit the same to global.esrm@tcs.com with his/her Full name, Email, Phone, College/University and self profile details on TCS Campus Commune on or before 01st February, 2016.

** Identity and Access management
** Governance Risk Compliance (GRC)
** Application security
** Network Security
** Cloud security
** Mobile security
** Privacy and Data protection
** Internet of things (IoT) Security
** Any other disruptive digital security stream

The articles should be broadly structured under business challenge, solutions and benefits.

Purpose of the Contest:
The purpose of this contest is to create incubate thoughts, generate perspectives, innovative ideas, mindshare, spot talent among the students from leading institutes about the increasing need of cyber security in today’s digital era.

Award:
Five best articles will be awarded a Kindle each. Also, various winning and other good articles will be published on TCS Cyber Security Community

Participation:
The contest is open to all the students from all the relevant institutes in India.

Participation Guidelines:
** Participant should send the article to global.esrm@tcs.com with his/her full name, contact details, college/university name and your profile details on TCS Campus Commune on or before 01st February, 2016
** Results will be declared on 15th February, 2016 at TCS’s ESRM Campus Commune Community/Channel i.e. TCS Enterprise Security & Risk Management (ESRM) Unit
** The article should present an original thought based on research or experience.
** Do not use content or their reference belonging to Analysts like Gartner, Forrester etc.
** Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Online search engines may be used for reference, but copying content without appropriate referencing is forbidden. Use Harvard referencing.
** Do not use any false, or abusive or derogatory language.
** The Articles should be in the range of 500 to 1000 words.
** Article should be sent in the word format, i.e. either .doc or .docx format
** Participants may attach images relevant to article as well, however the size of the image should not exceed 50KB
