I. Music – Vocal & Violin (Std I – IV (Junior) / Std V To Ix (Senior):

Time: 9:30 am
(4 minutes per participant)
Vocal – Carnatic/ Bhajans
Hindustani
Violin – Carnatic
II. Recitation (Std V – IX):
31.01.2016 (SUNDAY)
Time: 2:30 pm
(3 minutes per participant)
Recitation: Any poem in Tamil,Hindi,
Sanskrit or English
III. Story Telling (L.K.G – Std IV):
07.02.2016 (SUNDAY)
Time: 10:00 am
(3 minutes per participant)
Language: Tamil/English/Hindi

Rules for Open Competition:
1. Any present student of a school in Chennai (KG up to std IX only) may participate
2. Participate fee: Rs. 100/- per participant for each event
3. Last date for receipt of entries for all events: 27.01.2016 (Wednesday) by 5:00 PM.
4. Participants should report at the Club at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the event.
5. Judges, nominated by the Club, will select the FIRST and SECOND winners in each event. Consolation prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges .Prizes will be distributed on the Club’s Founder’s Day function to be announced. The judges’ decision will be final and binding on all matters relating to the competitions.
6. First prize winners may be required to perform their prize-winning item at the Founder’s Day function, to be held in February 2016
