Digital Photography Competition :

Theme:
1. Photographs on biological having medicinal value which can be used for therapeutic uses for humans. Example Tulsa plant (Osmium sanctum) have many medicinal uses, similarly omega 3 oil from fishes, honey from honey bees, bee pollen etc.  Normal photography, macrophotography or microscopic photography are expected along with description of the same what photographer feels.

The detailed description should also include biological source, common name, its chemical constituents or active principles which are responsible for therapeutics, area/ location where it is found and its therapeutics for what purpose and how it has to be taken. In brief, good elaboration of the subject is must. These information has to be given in word file in times new roman with 12 Font size and heading in bold.

2. Those individuals who have creative minds can even unleash their creativity on utilities of Pharmacy / Medicine / Ayurveda / Pharmaceuticals, which may include information right from history or origin till modern or digitalization age or use of any specific equipment, formulation related to theme.

In this theme we are expecting the above information with photos / cartoons / or any other suitable presentation, which can be converted by contestant to jpeg format under high resolution. In case of jpeg image, the same has to be prepared in Photoshop or Corel software, the original softcopy of Photoshop or Corel has to be submitted along with the softcopy of image for authentication.

In this section one can even deal with life cycle of plant, animal, insect to show how it helps drug therapeutics. It can be even transverse section of any leaf / flower / bark under various seasonal / environmental conditions. Working of any pharmaceutical equipment, say fluidized bed dryer, rotatory tablet punching machine. Molecular Drug interaction with any drug molecule / excipient / food or cellular components / fluidized membrane / receptor etc.

Important points to note:
** In theme 1 one can submit set of individual photographs or set of photographs for a single purpose along with detailed description. The properties of photograph should contain all its default information and
** In theme 2 set of combination of photographs or images which can be edited or prepared by photographer or author to deliver the message of the competition. When combining photographs or any other media, care should be taken that they have not been copied from elsewhere.
** Photographs of rare medicinal biological will be preferred first for the competition, on similar lines best detailed illustration of working equipment will be preferred.
** In both cases, photographer or the author has to describe in words also what is revealed in the image. The subject and vision should be clear in photograph and in written lines.

Image format: JPEG
Image size: More than 03 MB
Image dimension: approximately equal to or more than 5000 pixels x 4000 pixels
Image clarity: Ultra clear

2. Images that are submitted will published only after review by our moderator.

Eligibility :
The competition is open to all.

Contest Rules :

** Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published elsewhere are not be eligible in contest.

Submission Of Entries :
** Images of must be more than 3 MB in size and should be submitted online in mail events@pharmacychopda.in and unhampered higher resolution images should be posted by CD subsequently.
** Submitted images should be in JPEG format and at least or more than 5000 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 4000 pixels tall for a vertical image.
** Each participant can submit up to three images.
** Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.
** The organizer reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required under the photo submission page.
** All submitted images are non-returnable. The file name for each image should be clearly labeled
** Participants are entirely responsible for all entry-related costs.

Copyright / Intellectual Property :
** Each image submitted must be the original and unpublished work of the participant who must also be its copyright owner.
** The participant shall retain copyright to the image entered for the competition.
** Entries will be archived by organizers, and may be used for exhibitions, publicity and display. All winning entries may be used for exhibitions or news release purposes and may be comprehensively used and/or reproduced without limitation by or on behalf of the organizers.
** By entering the competition, all contestants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries on our website pharmacychopda.in and all its subdomains without any notification, permission or any fee or other form of compensation.
** Photos will be credited to the photographer. The best photos may be published on social networking platforms such as Google plus, Facebook, twitter etc. of pharmacychopda.in and its subdomains.
** Images received by the organizer through the competition will not be used by the organizer for commercial purposes.
