Chem-Zeal :

The Institute has been organizing a mega event, OPEN HOUSE, every year. This year we are celebrating 21th OPEN HOUSE during 27th to 28th February 2016.

The event comprises personality contest, Science/Theme Exhibition, Science & G. K. Quiz, various cultural programme, fashion parade, Creative Writing, Drawing and Sketching, Advertisement Skill, photography contest, Rangoli and various other competitions.

Rules and Other Details:
Categories:
I. Juniors: Up to X Std. Students
II. Seniors: XI & XII Std./Diploma/Graduate & P. G. Students
III. For Drawing And Painting: Sub-Juniors: Up to V Std. Secondary: VI-X Std.

IV) Cultural Programme:
i. Internal: All the students of different Teaching Departments at Umavi Nagar Campus can participate in all the events of cultural programme.

ii. External Professionals: Only B.E./ B.Tech., M.E./ M.Tech, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, M.B.A., M.B.B.S. and B.A.M.S./B.H.M.S. /B.U.M.S. Students are allowed for Singing and Dance Competition.

1. Theme/Science Exhibition (Shodhak / Vaigyanik) :[For Seniors and juniors]
Maximum no of participants allowed for working/static models are five per team. For Charts/Poster, only two students will be allowed. Refer working/ static models/Projects/Charts should be submitted on or before 5.00 p.m. 26/2/2016 for display.

2. Science Quiz ( Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam KI YAAD MEIN): [ for juniors and seniors] (Entry Fee Rs. 30/- Per Participant)
Two students per team, Medium is English/Marathi. Written Prelims will be held to select the Finalists.

3. G.K.Quiz (Savaal Jawaab): [For Seniors] (Entry Fee Rs. 30/- Per Participant)
Two students per team. Medium is English, Written Prelims will be held to select the Finalists.

4. Personality Contest :(Mr. and Miss. OPEN HOUSE-2016) [For Seniors Only] (Entry Fee Rs.80/-Per Participant)
Prelims will be held for selecting the Finalists.

Overall personality will be judged with the help of a number of written/oral rounds based on assessment:
** Smartness
** Aptitude
** Communication skill
** Practical Skill
** Presence of mind
** Reaction to odd circumstances
** General Knowledge Stage Presence Body Language
** Wit & Humor Spontaneity etc.

Questions will be asked by the anchor, fellow participants, audience and distinguished panel of judges.
